The synagogue was built in 1829, according to the design of Karl Ferdinand Langhans, as a temple belonging to the liberal faction. It was handed over to a conservative faction in 1872 after the Nazis burned down the building and built a new building in its place. The current building of the synagogue is stone, oriented and single-space built on a rectangular plan. The whole in the classical style, interspersed with elements of Roman architecture. Only the eastern and southern façades have been given a rich architectural setting, whose compositional elements form two shallow projections with Corinthian pilaster porticoes crowned with triangular pediments and high windows closed with arches. The building is covered by a flattened, broken roof covered with a blind attic, over which an octagonal lantern topped with a dome tilts. Inside the synagogue we can see the trough vault. They are surrounded on three sides by reinforced concrete, duplexes, neo-Roman women's galleries built in 1905. They replaced earlier wooden galleries, which supported 12 columns and wall pilasters. They are led by external staircases built in 1872 and located at the west and south walls. On the eastern wall in the monumental arcade in the shape of Serlin there is a richly decorated Aron ha-kodesh, above which there is an oculus. Its frame border includes four columns on the sides, whose capitals support full entablature covered with oriental decoration and the attic. The whole is crowned with boards of the Decalogue. For many years, the remains of the destroyed wardrobe were stored in the Historical Museum in Wrocław. The stairs leading to the Aron ha-kodesh originally led to a desktop. The synagogue is a building that is a valuable historic value. It was entered into the national register of immovable monuments under number 203 on December 30, 1970.
