The "Polinka" gondola railway is a year-round gondola railway in Wrocław, running on the Odra River between the main campus of the Wrocław University of Technology on the Stanisław Wyspiański Coast and the Geocentrum at ul. On the dike. It is 380 m long, the ride over the Oder takes about 2-2.5 min. The cars travel about 7 meters above the water. Two carriages run along the Oder, each with a capacity of 15 people. The name "Polinka" was invented by Grzegorz Pac, a student of mechatronics at the Wrocław University of Technology. From the queue you can see the Grunwaldzki Bridge and a house on the water, and in the background Ostrów Tumski. From the east - the University of Technology Boulevard and the water tower.
