The historic part of the city of Legnica, located in the very center of the city. The Old Town is surrounded by the main streets: Libana, Pl. Wilson, Witelon, Skarbek, Museum, Pl. Wolności, Dziennikarska, Piastowska, Pl. Piastowski, Pocztowa, on which there are 10 intersections with traffic lights, as well as two underpasses and three overground passages. There are most of the city's monuments such as: Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles, Church of St. John the Baptist Mausoleum of the Piasts, St. Mary's Church, Knight's Academy, Piast Castle, Renaissance House Under the Quail Basket and many others. Starting from 2004, the Old Town in Legnica is constantly rebuilt.
