The palace in Mokrzeszów was built in the years 1860-1880, on foundations from the turn of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. At that time, it was the hospital of the Knights of Malta Order in the Silesian province. During World War I, the building served as a German rehabilitation center for pilots. After World War II, it housed the House of Mothers and the seat of the organization "Source of Life", whose activity consisted of bringing from Germany and pairing racially pure men with women. The palace was therefore the center of the birth of pure Aryan blood. In this way, the Nazis wanted to populate the whole of Europe. After the war, the State Administration Staff Improvement Center was established in the palace building. Scenes for the series "Fat" were also filmed here. From the 1950s to 1982, the building housed a school. Then in 1995 the property was sold to a private owner. Shortly thereafter, the palace fell into ruin. The palace complex was once the residence of the owners of Lower Mokrzeszów of the von Gellhorn family and was founded on a regular plan similar to a rectangle. Behind the palace is a park with Kramsty's tomb from 1870, and at the foot of the remains of a monument to those killed in World War I. Currently, the deserted, decaying monument is still in private hands.
